And I told you my niece would be interested, then I kept talking about her for the rest of the week." Pam explained. "From the day you said you needed an intern. Michael raised an eyebrow, looked to the camera, then back at Pam. Pam I wish you could've told me she was your niece." "She's my niece, Michael." Pam interrupted. "Mary Beesly," I answered, though I was thinking he already knew this. "You must be the new intern." I nodded once more. "Michael Scott, Regional Manager of Dunder Mifflin." He said casually, as if that didn't happen. I puckered my lips in awkwardness and looked to the ground. "I've been thinking about the new intern, ya know?" The man goes on. Looking at the camera man and the crew, I mouth, asking if that's my boss. His blinds are open, so I can see his nameplate: Michael Scott and under it, saying, Regional Manager. "Hey, everyone," a man walks out from an office room. "This is my computer, pencil jar, candy, sticky note tower, and - " Once in her chair, she gestures her arms out with a, "Ta-da!" I smile coming around behind the desk.
Phones ring and workers type on their computer. He'll explain to you what you need to do, and what to learn about here." Pam explained.
"Our boss, Michael, will be out of his office in a few. I wore a white button up shirt, and a black pencil skirt with flats. "I am so happy you're here - you look so cute!" Pam says, her hands on my arms. "Mary!" She sings, getting up and opening her arms out towards me. Her eyes move towards my direction, and a smile crosses her face. Walking through a door, I smile, seeing my Aunt Pam at her desk. I'm sixteen and homeschooled by a laptop, and I live with my aunt who got me this job. "It's cool I came here while you guys are filming a documentary! Wow." "Sorry." Shaking it off, I walk up to the doors. I can see her roll her eyes, and drive up. "Sorry!" I tell the driver, who's a small blonde lady.
This job is going to get me through -Ī car honks, and I realize I've been standing in the middle of the road. Challenging? Maybe, but I'm ready to face it. This was going to be the start of something new for me.
